Corporate Sustainability
Every year, we publish a Corporate Citizen Report outlining the efforts of thousands of people working together for a sustainable future. For example, we're curbing emissions by using new virtual collaboration technologies, establishing recycling programs and constructing green buildings. We're especially proud that our headquarters in San Francisco is among the nation's top 25 percentile of energy-efficient buildings.
McKesson in the Community
Our corporate citizenship works on a grassroots level too. We're committed to investing in our communities as well as our planet. We've organized ride-share programs, made care packages for pediatric patients, sponsored employee volunteer weeks and provided grants to nonprofits—we've even painted murals to brighten hospital walls. We are committed to strengthening our ties to the neighborhoods where we live and work.
Healthcare Access for Low-Income Patients
Part of our commitment to our communities is to make healthcare available to low-income patients with chronic diseases. We've recently developed Mobilizing for HealthSM, a new program that researches how health can be supported by mobile devices for services and information. Our hope is to find new ways to improve health for low-income community members.
