What qualifications do I need to be considered for the Verizon Leadership Development Program and entry-level opportunities?

We’re seeking leaders with a 3.0+ GPA in a related major who have relevant experience and skills. Our Leadership Development Programs and entry-level opportunities require a 4-year degree, with some requiring graduate or MBA degrees. Our Leadership Development Programs require willingness to relocate.

I'm currently interested in or working in Sales. Does Verizon have a place for me?

Does Verizon hire Cleared Professionals? If so, what are your minimum requirements?

Yes. Verizon’s Federal Network Systems (FNS) division brings unrivaled expertise in designing, building, and maintaining data networks, which help government agencies maintain our nation’s security. We hire Cleared Professionals with a range of clearance levels. A minimum of TS/SCI clearance level is required, but a higher clearance level may be required depending on the position.

Does Verizon offer Tuition Assistance?

Yes. Full-time employees at Verizon are allotted up to $8,000 per calendar year in educational funds, and part-time employees can get up to $4,000—paid up front. Covered expenses include tuition and required textbooks for undergrad and graduate degrees and courses, certificate programs, and continuing education courses.
